SAKURA IN JAPAN meets OKAPPA-CHAN

OKAPPA-CHAN:
OKAPPA-CHAN is a Japanese girl who loves traveling alone. She works as an artist. She's very good at communicating with the people she draws and meets on her travels! OKAPPA-CHAN shall lead you all over Japan! *In Japanese, "okappa" means a bobbed haircut. When you're addressing a girl in Japan you add "chan" after her name so this is why she's called OKAPPA-CHAN.

Boojil is an artist with a mysterious power that uses a peaceful style with extreme colors that were born when she was travelling alone overseas that gives the viewers a feeling of happiness. Her essay describing her own travels "Okappa-chan TABI NI DERU" has been converted to an anime by NHK E television. She learned Spanish and creating folk pieces when she was studying in Mexico, Laos and India which are her favorite countries. She will be opening her own "TOKYO OKAPPA-CHAN HOUSE" studio/event space in an old house in Nerima district this summer. The advertisement, CD jackets, and title design of the television program regardless of genre are currently in the works.
